UX Workshop Deliverables
On August 8, 2008, I attended to the EightShapes UX Woskshop Deliverables in Washington, DC. It was a great experience to learn about how we can make better documentations for websites.
Recently, I’ve been working with Information Architecture Projects, making wireframes and some documentation (I consider myself a “newbie”), but I have no idea, how much we can document this kind of projects, how well we can organize the information to present the deliverables to the client. At the workshop Dan Brown talked about the deliverables basics for wireframes and flows, how different circumstances affect the content and form, how to define a process for creating documents (large and small). Also we make some practices about flows and wireframes.
At the afternoon session, Nathan Curtis talked about Advanced Wireframing an Annotations, with some topics that includes: systematic approaches of using annotations, planning and workflow in the deliverable process, visual presentation techniques, creating specifications focusing on content, states, and behaviors.
I was the only person there from Panama , so I win a book! writed by Dan “Communicating Design”
Everthing was just perfect. I hope to see more seminars and workshops like these on the future.
Thanks to the EightShapes team!
