Wikipedia said micro-blogging is a form of blogging that allows users to write brief text updates (usually 140 characters) and publish them, either to be viewed by anyone or by a restricted group which can be chosen by the user. These messages can be submitted by a variety of means, including text messaging, instant messaging, email, MP3 or the web.

The interesting thing about micro-blogging is the addiction that generates in persons who adopt it, they have access no matter where they are, it’s quick and instantly.

We have emails, blogs, messenger and phones to keep us connected….but with a micro-blogging like twitter we can post short message of the little things that happens in your live, so people that matters you can follow.   And also you can follow updates from other people that have the same interest that you or your career.

For me Twitter rocks!,  I’m following people that sometime make very interesting post about web design and UX, but also there are other people saying things like “Listening AC/DC’s new album”  and it’s also good to know because I want to hear it too.  Other people post theirs moods or what they are thinking in that moment and it’s very funny.

But well, micro-blogging is a new way of communication.
